Like many of my Mom Minute guests, Lauren of Grow Baby Nutrition first came on my radar by popping up in my Instagram feed. I was pretty ecstatic to realize she was here in the Waco area. The content she was putting out for mommas, was top-notch, and I was quick to follow. Meeting Lauren in-person was a must, so we met for lunch at the end of March. After our conversation, I was a full-fledged, badge-wearing ;), content-sharing, Grow Baby Nutrition-cheering, fan. Since then, she has joined the amazing Compleo Physical Therapy and Wellness team, which allows her to serve our community even more effectively.
What made Lauren so special in my mind? She supports ALL mommas on their feeding journey. She helps them grow their babies regardless of what that looks like. Any time a mom feels condemned or judged about her personal feeding choice, or even feels like she has to justify it, it makes me want to cry.
Seriously, momma, you have so much going on when baby arrives, and that’s a whole-lotta-pressure you just don’t need.
The good news? Whatever your choice, it’s okay to ask for support as you navigate feeding your new little person. Lauren meets you where you are on your feeding journey. Breastfeeding? Pumping? Formula-Feeding? A combination of choices? Great. She’s there for that.
