Since I have a little nephew who shares this name, I was already pretty much in love with this little client before I ever saw his face. Then I saw his little face and met his sweet Momma and Nonni, and I was a goner. We had such a fun session with this little man. His mom kept saying how happy she was she’d chosen to do this session, which made my heart swell, and his Nonni could hardly contain herself as we captured these set-ups. She may be absolutely over-the-moon about him (just maybe).
Mom’s Newborn Session questionnaire alerted me to the nautical theme in this guy’s nursery, so I had this little prop outfit from DoubleTreble Creations on hand for mom to choose from. 
Based on the questionnaire, I always have some props and basic set-ups pulled before your session. However, families are also encouraged to “shop the props” and see if there is something you’d really love to use for your session. Momma loved this little romper with a Celtic knot pattern, as it gave nod to baby Jack’s Irish heritage. I’d already pulled the green backdrop, and this combo ended up being one of my favorites, even though it wasn’t a pairing I’d considered before their session. Your baby is one of the most beautiful creations, and taking some natural baby shots serves as a sweet reminder of that miraculous moment they joined you earth-side. When Jack graced us with some sweet grins and smirks, we were all ecstatic. 
Precious details. Even without seeing him myself, I know when mom and dad view these pictures they will be amazed at how much their little man has grown since his newborn session. Little details serve as a beautiful reminder of those tiny features we want to hold near to our heart as our children grow.
This last set-up was really as a favor to me, since I’d been dying to use this new mohair romper from Illuminiti Designs. I don’t think momma really minded though, because man he looked cozy and sweet.
