Monday Mom Minute, Episode 4

October 4, 2021 Waco Doula: Micah Burgess, Part 2

I’m back in the studio for Part 2 of my interview with Micah Burgess of Waco Doula. We do a deep dive into the benefits and role of a doula, as well as how with their unique team-model, Waco Doula is able to better serve mommas, especially in light of COVID-19 .

If you missed the first part of our interview, definitely check it out. In Part 1, we touched on the raw and real support Micah provides in her podcast, Game Day: Births not Balls, and the light-hearted moments of birth highlighted in her new book The Humor In Birth: Stories And Insight From A Doula.

I wish I could have put every second of our discussion into this video, since we actually touched on so many great things, but it’s “Mom Minute” not “Mom Hour.” Micah has such a heart for what she does and a passion for serving mommas, not only in the Waco, Texas area, but mommas everywhere. Join us for Part 2 of our conversation over coffee.

The Monday Mom Minute is a new interview series to serve parents in the Waco, Texas area with local resources surrounding pregnancy, postpartum care, birth, newborns, babies, toddlers, preschool, and childhood.

I’d love for you to subscribe on YouTube and enjoy each episode of the Monday Mom Minute series headed your way!

Definitely head over and follow Micah on Instagram and/or check out her podcast Game Day: Births not Balls, and drop a comment on my Instagram Post, for a chance to win her book The Humor In Birth: Stories And Insight From A Doula.
