Okay mommas…and dads, too ( because we actually chat all about you as well) Part 1 of my interview with Micah Burgess of Waco Doula is just so fantastic. We talk about birth, doulas, and light-hearted moments, which are highlighted in Micah’s new book The Humor In Birth: Stories And Insight From A Doula.

Micah’s Starbucks order was a tall, hot Vanilla Latte with one pump of either toffee nut…hazelnut… or caramel. I’ll admit I was a little baffled when I first saw her order, but when I stood at Starbucks and they responded with, “We’re out of that,” as I requested the first two options…I was like, ahhhh, I see. She’s been here, done this.
