Waco Newborn Photographer: What Do I Bring for my Newborn Session?

Parent? Check. Baby? Check. Breast or Bottle? Check. You’re ready!

I repeatedly say, if you show up on your session day with your newborn, and a way to feed them, then we can have a great session.

Seriously, as brand new parents, there are so many things you are juggling, and just the task of leaving the house, can feel like a monumental effort.

My goal for you, is to make your Newborn Session relaxed and enjoyable, even in with new-parent-sleep-deprivation.

There are extra diapers at the changing table if needed, and we provide all the prop accessories, to create beautiful, timeless art of your precious baby.

Your Session includes use of our wraps, specialty knit items, and all prop options. Since Leila Photography Newborn sessions remain simple, and baby-focused, the term “props” generally refers to buckets, baskets, or small beds that I set up in addition to your fabric-background beanbag poses.

We have a variety of sweet tie-backs and headbands as well as hats and bonnets for your use. (All items that touch your baby are washed or disinfected before use.)

When you come in for your consultation, and I start to get to know you, we will begin planning which props to use based on your preferences. If you see something specific on our Instagram Feed, or in a Facebook post, that you love, you can definitely request a similar prop set-up. I also encourage mommas to “shop-the-props” if they see something they love during their consultation, or on session day.

If you have a special momento, heirloom, or personal item, that you want your baby photographed with, I love incorporating those things into your session. However, if you want to just worry about arriving the day of the session with yourself, and baby, the rest is pretty much taken care of.

I honestly want the chance to meet you prior to your Newborn Session, so that you can get a feel for the Leila Photography space, and preview your prop options in person. If you are expecting, you can schedule your consultation visit, by calling 254-723-5591. Or, complete our contact form, and I will give you a call.
