Lovingly Awaited: Waco Maternity and Newborn

I met this beautiful couple just as the sun was starting to sink behind the rocky cliffs of Cameron Park.  The warm vestiges of daylight matched the glow of excitement that surrounded these two awaiting their very first child, a little girl. 

After meeting them, it was with great excitement that I waited to meet their precious daughter. She came to see me at 5 days new.
Although she wasn’t extremely excited about her session, grandma, dad, mom and I worked to get those priceless reminders of her tiny little presence.

Her parents brought globes with them to the session. With her father from Venezuela, travel was a theme incorporated into their wedding and remains an integral part of their home decor.  It was fun to pull together this set-up for them. Dad was safety spotter for this shot since baby’s safety always remains priority. (Compositing shots or editing out a parent’s hands is absolutely necessary to keep newborns safe during their session.)

We actually finalized her session with some Lifestyle family shots in her nursery. I love the opportunity to grab these gorgeous reminders of a new family in a space that has been so lovingly put together for their new little one.
