It brought me such joy to meet this family at Harry Myers Park in Rockwall, TX to capture lifestyle moments as well as some posed portraits. This family has a very special place in my heart since Mommy Missy was one of my best friends in high school. We keep in touch as much as separate, busy lives allow, but I hadn’t even met her youngest little one in person. (She was expecting him the last time we got together.) The gentleness and love that radiate from this family, are like the warm kisses of sunshine on a Spring day. They love nature and discovery, and delight in each other and the world around them. I truly counted it an honor to use my lens to document this precious family.
