After a summer hiatus (except for the fun conversation with Christina Swanson of HOT Goodwill Industries) I’m back with our Monday Mom Minute, to continue exploring resources for you, momma!
It’s the first time I’ve had a return guest, but there are so many new and exciting things happening over at Christian Women’s Job Corps. (This is a longer one, so if you can’t digest it all in one sitting, I’ll be releasing bite-size portions on Instagram all month)
Lydia Tate, CWJC’s Executive Director, shares how CWJC helps women propel their professional development.
Whether that is earning their GED, receiving Resume Coaching, accessing classes, developing computer and interview skills, working with a mentor, or utilizing workshops, CWJC is an impetus for that forward motion.
Mommas, if you are un-employed or under employed, CWJC is there to help.
If you’ve been a SAHM who is re-entering the workforce, and feel overwhelmed, reach out to CWJC!
CWJC gives women the support they need to realize their goals and dreams, and meet the needs of their families.
Christian Women’s Job Corps is also a way for women to empower other women. You can teach courses, mentor, lead a workshop, or proctor at their testing facility…or serve in numerous other ways.
CWJC is also now a recognized Pearson testing facilty which is a service to our community. It allows them to generate some revenue for the many services they provide free of cost to our community. If you have any certification, licensing or testing needs in your future, consider using CWJC as your testing location.
